Michael Jackson - Caricature TUTORIAL

OK, let's try something...

I decide to share some few important steps to obtain a well done Michael Jackson drawing. I am sure they are a lot of people who need to know the steps for it.

So... I chose to share an unfinished work from the past, and is a caricature. Anyway, i use the same tehniques and steps for every drawing i've made over the past years.

For the first step... everyone sould know that a painting or a drawing (in that case) must have a sketch or a base construction... This is verry important and we need that for keepin the character and his elements in correct proportions.

Now, once we have the base line we have to build a contur on our construction...

...and maybe a clean up too :)

Well, now that we have our MJ naked... without anything on it. and you suppose to think he need some clothes. If you ask me why i do start to make Michael first without clothes... that's because we have to discover ON WHAT this clothes stays... you know what i mean, like you start to build a structure, is the same thing.

OK, now lets try some "Billie Jean" clothes over it...

We have a clean up of this clothes too...

Ok, now we have a vision about how the Jackson looks with this Billie Jean clothes on it... but there's time enough, we don't have to hurry, so lets try maybe some "Dirty Diana" clothes over too.

Hmmm... i think looks verry nice in that clothes too... so i am not decided which one will be... Ok, how about I'll make a combination betwen both of them...

Let's see...

Oh... in my opinion, looks verry nice... I thing I'll go in that way to "finish" my work. I wrote "finish" cause in fact, this pice was never finished.. :D
